In 2010 we commissioned a feasibility study in conjunction with a local architect The brief was to repair and restore the original building to increase its life expectancy and ensure use by future generations.
Back in 2010 we were still negotiating the transfer of ownership of the building. In 2013 we finally took over the ownership which now takes our plans one step further. The next step will be to raise the required capital to carry out the work The comprehensive and detailed report produced by the architect can be viewed at the Old Colliery Offices.
