2015/101D Grand Opening Day 15 May 2016
This being a special meeting, minutes of the last meeting not reviewed.
The only item on the agenda is the Sports Development Opening Day. This will be the biggest event in the history of CDTnt Opening Daywed.
and the biggest event in Kiveton Park and Wales for decades. Unfortunately due to illness, work and other commitments only 4 Board members and KB were able to attend.
Funding.
Funding received for the event so far is approximately £1,800, hopefully there will be more to come.
Activities
1215 – 1230 Official opening. Mayor to cut the ribbon, Sir K Barron to make a speech.
Zorb ball 5 a side
Zorb ball race challenge.
KPFC
Toddlers under 7’s. juniors girls and boys.
Climbing wall, caving experience, both £3 a ticket.
Ozzie Owl and Captain Blade
Cake stand
Health and Beauty products
Veterans
Face painting.
Redroad providing music and PA system
Catering.
Hog roast £3
Buffs van, hot dogs and drinks
Parking.
The new car parking areas will be out of bounds. Cones required.
The old pit baths site will be used as a car park hopefully stewarded by Scouts.
Raffle.
Raffle prizes are :- 2 tickets to SWFC and 2 tickets to SUFC. Blue raffle tickets for the SW prize and pink tickets for the SU prize.
It is expected that there will be hundreds of people attending, especially if the weather is good. There will be a lot going on and we really need all the help we can get.
