Comedian and television personality Hugh Dennis who is a regular panelist on “Mock the Week” and also appears in the BBC1 sitcom “Outnumbered” made an appearance at the Old Colliery Offices in January 2012 along with a film crew from BBC televisions “Who do you think you are” programe
Hugh was in Kiveton with the BBC team filming for an episode of the programe that was broadcast later in the year that explored Hugh’s family history and links with Kiveton Park & Wales.
The production team visited the The Old Colliery Offices in early December 2011 when looking for locations to use in the filming and just before Christmas 2012 they contacted us to book one of our rooms for filming.
The Old Colliery Offices was one of a number of locations that was used in and around Kiveton and Wales.
