Sell Your Unwanted Gifts on Ebay

Car Boot Sales are great but it isn't much fun loading the car up at 6:00am, especially if it's raining!!

If you have ever ventured onto E-bay to buy something
but shied away from selling anything then this is for you.

The Trust has set up an E.bay trading company which will benefit everyone.
We will photograph your unwanted item, advertise and monitor its progress on E-bay,
and then sort out the postage and packaging when it is sold.

You will recieve 80% of the selling price and 20% will go to the Trust.
All monies raised by the Truse will benefit worthwhile projects in our community
and someone out there on the worldwide web will get the bargain they always wanted.
EVERYONES A WINNER!!!!

If you have an item you would like us to list on E-bay for you please contact Steph on 01909 773348
We can come and photograph your item in your home.

Kivo eBiz slays the Dragons

Social enterprises from voluntary and community groups Nationwide were asked to submit
their enterprise ideas to a ' Dragon's Den' style event for an investment prize of £15,000.

This event was held on the 19th October 2006 at the 'Footsey 100' event at York Racecourse.
The Footsey 100 is the largest National Exhibition for community enterprises, with over 100 stall holders.

Kivo eBiz was selected as one of the four victims.
The 'dragons' were Sue Peter's, CEO of Adventure Capital Fund (putting up the money),
Fergus Beesley (Groundwork Sheffield)
Alison Haskins ( Scarman Trust)
Hugh Rolo (Yorkshire Key Fund)
The event was introduced and facilitated by Trisha Cooper, regional BBC broadcaster.

Stephanie Hryschko and Ann Britton, Directors of the Trust and main volunteers on the eBiz project
had just five minutes to give their pitch to the dragons and then face ten minutes of tough questions.

Each dragon gave feedback to one of the projects before the decision was announced.
Fierey dragon, Fergus Beesley, said that Kivo eBiz was
"the best true community enterprise I have come across in years"

WE WON!!!

Along with the £15,000 prize money, the Trust will also receive up to 5 days of free consultancy to develope the project further..
